Cooking again

I made some yummy Curried Corn and Zucchini soup today and some Mini Spring Rolls. Recipes are in my recipe blog. Sorry about the dash of this and dash of that, but that is how I cook. Never too formal and lots of mess. I use a different spoon or knife every time I do anything and make so much washing up. Don't have a dishwasher either so I really annoy myself. Anyway I get tidied up eventually!

Steps were 8250 today. Didn't make the 10,000, will have to try harder tomorrow!

Can't believe two weeks have finished of the 8 week winter walking challenge!

No. Has it been two weeks already? My steps are really low too today. But as I was at home and slept when DS2 did it wasn't too bad. I love being registered because I get to have guesses as to what is in Kates Bum Bag. I am up to "Hot" so now just have to be more specific. How exciting. LOL that you make so much mess cooking. I have turned off the lights in the kitchen tonight so I can't see the mess. I'll deal with it tomorrow. Have a great night :)

Oh goody, more recipes.

By the way, did you take off some of your recipes? Went to find the Hot Pot with Dumplings and it was gone!

Had to try and remember what I used last time so that I could go shopping for the ingredients

No, you can find the hot pot in June archives. When I make it again I will re-post it with a pic.

I absolutley LOVE cooking - but HATE the cleaning afterwards! I'm really anal about hygiene too, so I get a different cutting board and knife out for just about everything! Do you develop your own reciepes or do use cookbooks and modify them? They all sound delicious! I'd love to see you give them a score out of 10!

If I like a recipe or if I feel like eating something I try to either adapt the recipe to make it lower in fat or make up my own recipe with ingredients I have in the cupboard. I like easy, fast, low fat, tasty recipes and I have become a lot more interested in cooking and trying to either find, adapt or make up these recipes since trying to lose weight and stay healthy. What do you mean rate out of 10? Ease of cooking? or ???

I also make a lot of mess when cooking. I finally found the Laughing Cow Lite chees you hav ementioned adn just ahd it with an english muffin under the griller. YUM! Now I am going to check out your spring rolls. My steps are way up but that is because of the exercise I am tackling. Tennis today was 13000 steps. I couldn't believe it as it was the first time I wore a pedometer to tennis. Now I know why it makes me feel tired afterwards.

That Curried Corn and Zucchini soup sounds so yummy I am going to make a batch on the weekend. I was just wondering can you tell me how many your recipe serves as I couldnt find it and I am likely to eat the whole lot. I suppose at 1 point per serve it wouldnt hurt :)

Congrats on all that stepping by the way ..and dont forget finally tomorrow we can get Slimming mag :)
