I'm getting rid of the chocolate monster

My chocolate and sherbert cone intake is creeping up and up. Yesterday I ate 4 mini lite mars bars and 3 sherbert cones! That is ridiculous. It is time to do something about it before the cherry ripes, choc coated almonds, and chips start appearing! Therefore I will NOT eat any more chocolates or lollies for the next two weeks and then reassess the situation. Yes, I will still have my red wine most nights (purely for the good of my cholesterol!), but I am really starting to crave chocolate and sweet food and I need to stop it before it takes hold.

I know exactly how you feel - maybe it is that time of the year or something !!!! Thanks for your comment - will be posting a little later this morning - as soon as I have caught up on everyone else !!
Take care and be good - hope you manage to banish that little critter soon (and when you do - can you please get rid of mine as well !!!!)
Have a great day !

I know how you feel on the choccie front, too. Good on you for cutting it out completely for a couple of weeks - for me that's the only way, it's so darn addictive!

Good to nip it in the butt before it becomes a real problem. I find if I have some I get the taste for it but if I stay away from it then I don't even think about it. You can do it. You have sacrificed more than this to get where you are today. XX

good work to realize that your choc consumption is getting out of control, best to stop it now before the kilos start to kreep back on.

Yes spam comments really make me annoyed. Don't they realise that no one reads them!

Maybe youneeded that choc after that incredible 10km walk and thinking about your dad. As long as you are recognising it and stopping you will be all right.

I am in exactly the same boat at the moment!!

Good thing you are tackling this from a medical perspective :)

Well done. Recognising the habit and changing it before it changes you is an excellent confirmation of learning how to balance and reassess. Great going Suzy. Hope you have a brilliant day tomorrow :)

Once you start...you can't stop, that's for sure! Great to see you curbing the habit before it gets out of control. Chocolate will be one of my downfalls if I start treating myself with it. Have a great day Suzy :-)

I'm glad to see someone else with a weakness for sherbet cones. I love them and my son always laughs at me for it because he says they are for little kids :)

Of course I only have them rarely now.
