Sundried tomatoes

Just bought some ingredients to make a ham and salad roll for lunch. I found some delicious 97% fat free sundried tomatoes at Woolworths deli. Yum they are delish. So much less oily than the usual ones. I always take some of the bread out of the middle of my roll when I make it. I read it somewhere while I was losing weight and have continued to do it. It means more room for filling and less kj's, so I find it works for me. I am so glad the sun is out and I can enjoy salads.

Thats clever with the bread thing, You so wouldnt miss it once you filled it!
Those tomatoes sound good - you can get dry ones too, rehydrate in hot water - never notice the oil is missing!!

I have some blogs going on right now about love and marriage and would like to get some perspectives, stories and comments from people who are ACTUALLY married (I'm not). Stop by if you have a chance, and ask your friends to share their thoughts too! I'd appreciate it!

By the way, good luck on the WW program! I'm doing a Slim Fast thing right now...not working so great! :)

That is such a cool idea, and much better than the fillings ending up all over the floor :)

I just loved the photo of your Mum, Suzie, to have her photo taken climbing a tree she must have been such a fun lady. I aways think of my Mum on her birthday and the day she died and just like you I still miss her.

Thanks for the great salad roll idea...and all the others you have shared.
Bye Bronwyn

I love those 97%FF sun dried tomatoes and have them all the time in my salads. I have never thought of pulling the bread out of the middle of the roll. What a great idea. Will have to try it!! Thanks XX

Thanks for the tip about the roll...except I usually pull the middle out and quickly pop it in my mouth 8-).....I always feel like I have more free food choices in summer with all the yummy salads available. My favourite salad vege is Rocket...I have it with lots of different things and it is never boring.

Oh, yum! Great tip about the roll - though then I wouldn't have any excuse for the mess I always make when I eat! LOL No more "my roll was too full", "i couldn't get my mouth around it properly". Just plain old - I am a grot! ;)

Yum, salad rolls. I usually get mine from the shop because I'm too lazy to make my own and I can't trust myself around bread. I love the vietnamese style with loads of coriander and soy sauce.
