Yay! Spring Cleaning!

I am exhausted, but happy! For the last two days I have cleaned windows, washed curtains, cleaned out cupboards, washed china and thrown out junk. The weather has finally been nice for a couple of days in a row, so I decided to do my spring cleaning at last. Even though most of the work is inside, I don't really feel motivated until the sun shines. It does give a great sense of satisfaction now it is done, even though I am totally exhausted.

I have still managed two trips to the gym and I will go again tomorrow. Have only seen the other lady twice so I am still bopping away to Suzy Q happily by myself!

Hope everyone is having a fantastic week!

It's such a satisfying feeling to have everything clean and nice. And you need the sun out so you can see how much everything sparkles when you are done.

Suzy, I tried your date scones this afternoon and they were magnificent! I added some grated apple to the mixture, just because I wanted to use the apple up, and it was great. Even David had some when he got home early from work - and he normally doesn't like things with dates in them. How the man can resist sticky date pudding is beyond me!

I'll be making them again for sure.

And well done on your spring cleaning - it must feel great to have everything clean and sparkling. Must follow your example!

Cheers :)

My spring cleaning is going v.e.r.y slowly. Mind you, the house is less than a year old, so it's not in too much of a state. What a change from all the 100 year old houses we've lived in before!

Can you come and do my housework too!

I'd love to have a cleaner do my house, but I just can't justify it.

Have a great weekend!
