Hope you all survived!

I hope everyone survived Easter. Our family decided not to give Easter eggs this year, which was a blessing. I did weaken though and bought myself some Ferrero Rochers and DH bought himself some little eggs. I always buy jamas for the littles, so my dear grandchildren gave us some Cadbury Favourites (yum). I will try to be careful with those.

It was lovely to have everyone visit for a while though. I still can't believe that Easter has come and gone already. The year is flying!

I didn't have to go to work today as the Surgery is closed. I will go back on Thursday.

I am OVER neighbours! Our other neighbours have started complaining about our cat (after a year) visiting their yard. Instead of shooing her out or putting the hose on her to discourage her from visiting, they pick her up and cuddle her and then bring her back and complain about her being there. Of course she thinks they love her!!!!!!!!!!!! I told them it was up to them to get rid of her out of their yard. She is an outside cat between 8.30am and 3.30pm and lives comfortably in our/her laundry the rest of the time.

Why can't people just LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Next time/If any neighbour asks me how I am, I am going to say MINDING MY OWN BUSINESS, LIKE YOU SHOULD BE!!!!!!!!!

Can you tell I am angry????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL, that feels better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Damn those neighbours. I've learnt to ignore mine but it's hard when the cat's going over to their place. I hope it sorts itself out. All they need to do is tell the cat to go away. I have to do this with my neighbours cats so they don't fight with ours. It's really not that hard or a bother but some people can get upset over things that are really nothing hey. Breathe sista and have a drink :-)

Damn neighbours, what on earth is wrong with them? Just ignore them, give them a nice smile and poke your tongue out when they're not looking!! Don't they realise that cats own the planet and they're only letting us live here because we pander to them!?!?!?!?!

Your neighbours sound weird...and annoying. Sheesh, no wonder you are feeling frustrated. I have to be honest, I'm not really a cat person but there is no way I would pick up my neighbours cat for a cuddle if I didn't want it to visit me. That's a bit bloody obvious

You're not having a lot of luck with your neighbours of late - you poor thing Suzy! Feel free to vent here on blogland - we all understand :) I can't believe they don't realise that playing with our cat automatically means to the cat that they are 'friendly' - you don't need to be a cat person to know that! Argh, people can be so frustrating sometimes. I agree with briony - sticky your tongue out when they aren't looking :P

Neighbours are like family, you can't choose them! When you come home you expect to leave all the crap of the world behind, not deal with stupid complaints from your neighbours. I hope it all works out soon.
I live in a group of four squashed-in townhouses. We all have two car spaces, one for residents and the other for visitors. We only use the second space whenever we have guests. Not that long ago our neighbour (who has an old bomb permanently parked in his visitors space, leaking oil everywhere) complained to the body corporate that we had misused our visitors carspace - we had friends over for dinner and they stayed maybe a few hours. Grrrr - what a jerk. When he was moving out a few months ago, he asked if I would dispose of his leftover rubbish, so I promtply told him where he could shove his waste!

Personally, I'd be encouraging the cat to go over there, just to wind them up!

Yep - some people just don't get it! What a lovely idea to buy jamas for your grandchildren - babysat my two on Easter Saturday -what fun - went to the park, fed the ducks.
Been trying to follow the theory that you're allowed to choose who you allow to make you angry, upset whatever - wouldn't say that I've quite mastered it yet!! but it does put a whole new slant on anger and frustration and when I'm successful makes me feel very much in control of the situation, my emotions and myself. Enojoy your weekend.

Ooooh.. Cranky pants LOL. I must admit I don't like it when the neighbours cat comes over into our yard, and particularly when it makes a toilet in our garden, but a quick shoo usually sees it off for the evening. Your neighbours have rocks in their head if they think cuddling it is going to keep it away.

Hope it sorts itself out peacefully soon. Perhaps you could write them a small note saying that you are not encouraging your cat to go there and they are free to discourage it (safely and humanely) and that the cat is smart and will stay the heck away.

Glad your Easter was great with the family. Hope you have a great weekend. :D
