I have finished one sock with my Mother's Day wool. It is so soft and gorgeous to wear.

I have also organised myself for sock knitting during the winter. Here are the before and after photos of my knitting tidy. Another old pair of jeans bite the dust! The pockets make great holders for my tape measure, row counter, darning needles and pen. I also made little bags for my pattern (I photocopy each pattern so I can write on it) and knitting needles and scissors.

What a beautiful sock. You knit so quickly!! Terrific Knitting Tidy: I am afraid to ever meet you wearing my jeans in case you whip them off me to refashion!!! You have made so many new things from old jeans!! Very handy too.

That is fantastic!! And I am getting all in a dither just making some cushion covers for the boys beds (I am sick of Lightening McQueen and Buzz Lightyear and figured I could just make covers to go with the new decor).

You are just so clever :)

Wow, that's a great sock! Do you wear your first sock as you knit the second one?

I love the knitting tidy. What a great idea.

Suzy, do you only use two needles to knit socks. I have knitted a pair aeons ago, and I thought I used four! I am wondering whether I should try my hand at a pair. I will have to look back over your old posts, and look for a plain pair. Did you post a link somewhere? Anyway you have inspired me........they look gorgeous.
