Bridge to Brisbane (click here for information)

Good luck to everyone running in the Bridge to Brisbane on Sunday, especially my Dear Son, who is running his first race - 12km.

The news here is that my Dear Daughter has been quite ill with Influenza. Thank goodness she is on the mend now.

We have had some brighter days - still chilly, but sunny at times.

I have lost the knitting bug at the moment and have been reading a lot.

Did anyone see the episode of Martha Stewart last week showing the pilates exercises and cardio on the mini trampoline (rebounder)? I have been telling you for the last two years what great exercise it is, and fun too! I mainly jog on it for half an hour. I love mine and it is still going strong after two years or more (from Kmart -no springs - under $50) - the gym has come and gone - the crosstrainer is collecting dust at the moment - the tramp is still my favourite exercise.

I had a trampoline for a while and enjoyed it. I think my kidlets broke it . . . the springs or a leg or something. It's been a while. I'm not sure I could still use one because of knee, neck, and back problems.

(I'm amused that WRB doesn't know who MS is. Maybe it's a chick thing.)

Martha Stewart - in summary, homemaker queen who spent time in jail! Is that right Suzy? I must admit I have never watched her. Is she on Austar? I didn't think she was on free to air?

There's been lots of sickness going around here too. Hope your daughter is better soon.

Glad the weather is fining up a little. We have had some beautiful days this week.

Hi Suzy, after reading how you love your mini tramp over the last couple of years I went and bought myself one at big w and love it! Harder work than I thought but I will get there! Do you know of any music to jog away to?
Is Martha Stewart on pay TV?

I missed that Martha episode. I have been watching on the Home Channel and sometimes watch the 5 in a row on Sunday Mornings whilst I potter around the house. I wonder if they have the details on her website (which is www.marthastewart.com for those that want to know) LOL.

You are such an advocate for the tramp - I think you should get signed up as a spokesperson..

Have a great bounding day :-)

Oh and good luck to your son on his walk, and hope your daughter recovers from the flu. There is so much of it going around!

My mini tramp has not been used for a while - must dust it off and have a bit of a bounce on it! Thanks for the reminder..

If I were you I would plant a tomatoe farm, and eat kangaroo. They are really low in fat. So are tomato worms, which I also like. Just kidding. It all sounds like we are getting thru this together. Hang in there, Captain Beware! I'm losing weight so fast. Off to the bat cave!
