Great tutorial for a super simple dress to sew (Link here)

I found this great tutorial at Burdastyle.com You need to join, but there are lots of copyright-free sewing patterns. This is called the "eight dollar dress". It is just a tube of fabric with rows of elastic sewn to give shape to the top of the dress. I added straps to this one.

It would also be a great pattern to use for a little girl's dress.

I love it. I am going to register and start getting my resources together so I can start sewing again, and this dress looks like the perfect starter for me.. Thanks.

It looks great on you :)

So glad I found you again - lost a lot of blog addresses and now that I am blogging again I seem to be slowly finding them.

I'm not sure that the sewing bug will ever land on me again - for many years I sewed all my own clothes but I just don't seem to have the time right now - maybe in a few years time when things slow down a little .....

Take care and look after yourself !
