In April our world was turned upside down. Dear Daughter became very, very ill and was rushed to hospital. She spent time in intensive care and several weeks in hospital. She has been in pain and despair for the last six months. I spent many days with her. I couldn't do much for her and I often wished that it had happened to me instead of her. I felt so helpless.
Thankfully she is improving now and, although she is unable to go back teaching yet, she is starting to enjoy life again.
Spring is here and things are looking brighter.
I have been gardening and knitting. I have started a new blog for my knitting patterns. I will be adding to it during the next few months. I have designed a Seamless Tote Bag and other patterns which I still need to post.
My chooks have gone! I gave them away to a good home during winter. They were permanently broody and they needed someone to care for them and let them have chickens. I totally chose the wrong breed for egg laying! I do miss them though!
I hope you are all well and happy :-)
